Scottish Borders planning applications: official links and published activity

Use the official planning service to start an application. Scottish Borders Council's planning pages provide the local routes for applying, searching records, viewing documents and making comments.

Project Intel is independent of Scottish Borders Council. It does not submit, process or determine applications; this guide points users to the official service first, then separates that from Project Intel's own published planning activity.

Project Intel's public display currently includes 18 Scottish Borders records. The filtered view keeps the published activity available for browsing, including items that may not be relevant to every visitor or trade.

It is not a copy of Scottish Borders Council's full register. Use the official Council record for current status, documents, consultation information and any decision before relying on a particular application.
